Mobolaji Fasasi whose stage name is “De Emperor”  whose “facebook prediction” album was launched recently in a glamorous and funfair style is a bomb to look out for.

The rap artiste, actor and song writer, responding to questions from The Parroters about the title said he was inspired by the rumour going round about the likelihood shutdown of the popular social media ” facebook”

The Ijebu born Lagos rapper renders lyrics in his local dialect and English.

Just like most singers, De Emperor started music career at a tender age at his place of birth, taking inspiration from foreign artistes on radio through aspiring to be like one in future.

In preparation for his career, he enrolled with the church choir where he was promoted to choir master at All Saint Anglican Church, Eriwu Apunren, Ogun State.

Through the training he got while serving as choir master, Fasasi started writing lyrics in 2008 which helped him to release the first single “am ah rapper” (2011) before “Facebook prediction” that featured Don D King.

All success they say always have dark sides; this prompted the young artiste to recall that his love and passion for what he does kept him on.

“The experience inspired me the more”, he said.

According to hum, his first challenge came from his father father who preferred an engineer son.

However, fate has turned the old man to his manager.

Fasasi is a guy to watch in entertainment industry in the nearest future.
