Osinowo Mourns Demise of Ayeola, N/A Member

***Says, His Death Regrettable

A member of Lagos State House of Assembly representing Kosofe Constituency 1, Hon Bayo Osinowo, mourns the demise of Hon. Abayomi Ayeola, who was until his death, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ibeju Lekki Federal Constituency of Lagos State, as well as the leader of the state caucus in the lower chamber.

In a condolence message personally signed by Him, Osinowo described Abayomi’s demise as “shocking, sad and untimely,” adding that his departure would be felt with great sense of loss.

“I convey my heartfelt condolences to our party the All Progressive Congress (APC), the national assembly, the good people of Ibeju Lekki, the government of Lagos State, the entire bereaved family, relatives, friends and colleagues of the late Hon. Ayeola, as well as his teeming supporters.

“We mourn the passing on of a distinguished lawmaker and community leader who was also the APC flag bearer for the 2019 national assembly election in Ibeju Lekki federal constituency. He has left an indelible imprint on the history of our dear state.

“Indeed, the late Hon. Ayeola played a critical role in the struggle to accord Lagos State a special status among many other efforts he made as the representative of his people. No doubt, he lived well, though didn’t live long.

“My entire supporters across the length and breadth of the Lagos East senatorial district and I share with the bereaved family and the government and people of Lagos state, the feelings of great loss at this moment of deep sorrow.

“May the almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace,” Osinowo prayed.
